I would be remiss if I did not add this option under my favorite things. Shopping centers are a dime a dozen in Bangkok with Sukhumvit acting as the center of the shopping universe…… so starting from the grandaddy of BKK shopping centers – MBK.
its probably one of the oldest multi tiered shopping center in BKK – it is a vast collection of old styles, new styles, Thai styles, European styles, knockoff styles, a whole floor devoted to electronics – can someone say PHONE? the upper levels are home goods and the top level has an area reserved for artisans.
Some people love it, some loathe it but everyone must see it at least once!
