I love this place….I am sitting at a friends house at Prive behind the American Embassy and while this is a delightful place with the luck of having Neil’s Bakery and Tavern right next door, it is a bit of a walk to and from Bumrungrad.  There are a number of hotels to stay close to Bumrungrad — Ad Lib, Best Western and of course, the Marriott Sukhumvit — but by far my favorite is Arcadia Suites.  It is right behind the Swiss Embassy on Wireless Road and the front office has a tuk tuk that will drive you up to Sukhumvit where you can hop off and walk down Soi 1 to Bumrungrad.  If you are planning to come into BKK, this is a must try!
